So, you downloaded Pages, typed your novel, letter, or thoughts and now…how do you name it?
First, if you have your document open in Pages, at the top left, tap on My Documents.
At the bottom of the document organizer, you will see the title “Blank.” Tap on that to bring up the keyboard to type the name of the document.
When the Keyboard appears, type the name you want to give the document.
Tap “Done.”
Voila…! A newly named document in Pages.

After you tap the Pages icon, you are presented with documents that exist. Tap once below the document where the name appears.
You will then be presented with a keyboard to change the name of the document.
If you are already in an open document, follow the directions in the post above.

Thanks so much to justin, i could not for the life of me figure this out.
I am confused though, with the first suggestion, when i have a document open, the tool bar reads as ‘ documents’, not ‘my documents’ as the picture above shows, and if you tap that, it goes back to the list of documents screen. I only downloaded pages a few weeks ago, is this a different version or something?
