Smart Pad Sale

This weekend, Smart Pad will be on sale for $9.99 (US). That’s $10 off of the regular price. (Before purchasing, make sure the sale price is reflected in iTunes and watch the videos below to see how the app works).

If you are looking for an app that combines appointments, tasks, notes, and log time spent on projects, this app may be for you.

A unique feature of this app is the ability to insert tasks waiting to be completed into your daily calendar, in between appointments, so you can be more productive. The developer calls this “SmartTime Logic.”

If you are working on a project and complete a task from that project, the app will insert the next item from the project list into your task list.

As you work throughout the day, you may take notes. Highlight a note or part of one and create tasks, appointments or follow-up items.

For those who need to keep track of their time, you can log work tasks, events or phone calls and then export that information to Excel.

According to the developer, those who purchase the 2.x version will be entitled to a free 3.x version due out in the near future. If you want to see what is in the works, check out this page and see what is coming.

Without question, this app takes some time to get used to and requires effort to enter information to make it worth your while. However, once you get used to the rhythm of entering information and the feel of the way the app works, you may find it an indispensable way to manage your tasks, notes and life – all in one app.

If you have any questions, the developer is often available for live chat sessions on the blog page.
