Time, Inc. to Begin Selling Subscriptions

Apple promoted the newly available subscriptions on Thursday.

Time Inc. has reversed its prior position about subscriptions being sold on the iPad.

Now, Time will provide access to 20 of its consumer publications – including Entertainment Weekly, People, and Sports Illustrated – for the iPad via Apple’s Newsstand app. Consumers can buy a single issue or sign up for an annual subscription. Existing print subscribers will be able to download the iPad version of the pubs at no extra charge according to PC Mag.
