Ulysses for iPad Xmas Offer ½ Price and Gift


The Soulmen are offering Ulysses for iPad for $9.99. For a limited time, the popular writing app is availabe on the App Store at half the price. For a personal touch at the time of gift giving, the developers suggest complementing it with a handmade greeting card – and offer various free patterns on their campaign website (http://ulyssesapp.com/xmas). Of course writers can also purchase only one app license to keep it, or gift Ulysses to two or more of their fellows.

Ulysses Themes
Ulysses is a fully-fledged writing tool for the iPad. It offers focused yet powerful editor and allows authors to organize their texts in the built-in library. With only a few taps, Ulysses can generate formatted DOCX and PDF documents, web pages and ebooks. The text library syncs seamlessly to the Mac app of the same name, which was awarded Best of Mac App Store by Apple in 2015 for the second time. The developers of the German Software Company The Soulmen are currently working on bringing Ulysses to iPhone, making Ulysses for iPad a universal iOS app in 2016.

To gift the app, do the following.

  • Launch iTunes on your Mac and switch to the App Store.
  • Type Ulysses in the search field top right and press Enter.
  • Click on Ulysses’ yellow butterfly icon.
  • Click on the arrow dropdown next to the Buy button and select “Gift This App”.
  • Fill in the presentee’s e-mail address, your name and a personal message.
  • For Christmas, set the sender date of the e-mail accordingly. Click next.
  • Select a proper theme, for example “Winter”, “Holiday” or “Celebration”. Click next.
  • Does everything look ok? Then click “Buy Gift”.
  • Enter your iTunes password when prompted. You’re done!
